At home we like a comfortable heat everywhere, but what does that mean: comfortable heat? And how do you achieve that with a low energy consumption?
Our human comfort relies just as much on radiant heat transfer as it does on air temperature. The more you have from one, the less you need from the other.
In many situations Infracomfort can compete on running cost with any gas or oil driven central heating systems (including cost of maintenance) but at a much higher comfort and much lower investment cost.
The investment into an Infracomfort central heating system for an entire house can be as 50% cheaper than an oil or gas based system.
How can Infracomfort save that much energy? Four facts which makes Infracomfort so energy efficient:
- Fact 1: Airflow – Convective heating causes air circulation where the air cools down by touching the colder walls and ceilings.
- Fact 2: Higher humidity – Infracomfort does not dry up the air. Normal humidity will remain at 45% to 55%.
- Fact 3: Technology – The use of infrared waves for heating is not a new idea. Infracomfort developed a unique solution.
- Fact 4: Room temperature control – The wireless thermostat allows you to keep each room on its individual right temperature.
Oil and gas heaters emit CO2 by burning fossil fuel and therefore directly contribute to the depletion of fossil fuels and rapid climate change.
Sooner or later this technology will reach the end of its lifecycle. Alternative sustainable heating technologies have to be developed instead.
Safe and healthy
Infrared waves have nothing to do with Microwaves, UV or X-Ray waves.
Infrared waves are emitted by any object that has a temperature above the absolute minimum (-273°C).
Due to their radiant heat output, Infracomfort can be installed almost anywhere within a room, even on the ceiling.
There is no need to install directly under windows.
No moving parts, so maintenance free for the whole life cycle (expected life cycle is 30 years at least).
